This Compact In-Line Pre-Cut Cap Lining Machine is designed to integrate directly with plastic cap injection moulding machines, eliminating the need for a separate off-line cap lining operation.

Injection moulding robots typically remove caps by vacuum suction from the top surface and deposit them opening-down onto a conveyor. Conventional cap lining machines require caps to be presented opening-up, making direct integration difficult.

This machine overcomes that challenge with a wide upper receiving conveyor positioned to accept robot-delivered caps exactly as they are released. The caps then travel over the conveyor edge into a specially designed inversion chute, which turns each cap opening-up before transferring it onto a lower conveyor running in the opposite direction.

The inverted caps are conveyed directly to the lining station, where pre-cut foam, pressure-sensitive, or induction seal liners are automatically picked from a magazine and inserted into each cap.

Why Choose a Pre-Cut Cap Lining System?

Unlike traditional roll-fed cap lining machines that punch liners from continuous material, this system uses pre-cut liners, delivering a cleaner, simpler and more compact production process with significantly lower maintenance requirements.

Benefits of Pre-Cut Liners

07-compact-equipment

Compact Equipment

Pre-cut lining machines are inherently more compact than conventional roll-fed systems. Because the liners are supplied ready to insert, there is no need for roll unwinders, punch-and-die stations, waste handling equipment or scrap rewinders. The result is a shorter machine that integrates easily alongside an injection moulding machine where factory floor space is often limited.

08-better-matched-production

Better Matched to Injection Moulding Production

Roll-fed lining machines are commonly installed as stand-alone production equipment and are therefore designed for much higher throughputs than a single injection moulding machine can produce. This higher-speed capability adds complexity and cost that may be unnecessary for an in-line installation.

A pre-cut lining machine can be designed specifically to match the output of the injection moulding process, providing a simpler, more economical solution without sacrificing production efficiency.

09-no-punches-knives-dies

No Punches, Knives or Dies

  • Eliminates punch and die maintenance.
  • No knife sharpening.
  • No die clearance adjustments.
  • Fewer wear components.
  • Lower operator skill requirements.
10-no-scrap-material

No Scrap Material

Every supplied liner becomes a finished product.

There is no skeletal waste (“matrix”) left after punching, eliminating the need for scrap chopping, rewinding, handling and disposal.

11-cleaner-production

Cleaner Production

Punching board-backed liner materials can generate dust that may contaminate equipment and require regular cleaning.

Using pre-cut liners virtually eliminates this source of dust, resulting in a cleaner production environment.

12-no-lubricated-punch-systems

No Lubricated Punch Systems

Punch-and-die mechanisms often require lubrication to maintain reliable operation.

Pre-cut systems eliminate this requirement, removing a potential contamination source in food and beverage packaging applications.

13-reduced-storage

Reduced Storage Requirements

Pre-cut liners contain only usable product.

Unlike roll-fed materials, there is no waste matrix occupying storage space or being transported only to be discarded later.

14-protected-during-storage

Protected During Storage

Pre-cut liners are typically supplied in sealed plastic sleeves, protecting them from dust and environmental contamination until required.

Roll-fed materials often have exposed edges during storage and handling.

15-faster-magazine-reloading

Faster Magazine Reloading

Pre-cut liner magazines are quick and simple to replenish.

In many installations, magazines can be refilled while the machine continues operating, minimising production interruptions.

16-lower-operating-costs

Lower Operating Costs

Pre-cut technology reduces:

  • machine maintenance
  • operator skill requirements
  • waste disposal
  • spare parts consumption
  • production downtime

Resulting in a lower total cost of ownership.

17-printed-liners

Printed Liners Without Complexity

Pre-cut liners can be supplied with either random or accurately registered printing.

Because each liner is already individually cut, registered graphics are automatically positioned correctly during insertion. Roll-fed materials with registered printing generally require specialised registration systems to ensure the punch aligns accurately with the printed artwork.

The Combined Advantage

By combining in-line integration with pre-cut liner technology, the Adeneli Compact Cap Lining Machine offers manufacturers a highly efficient alternative to conventional cap lining systems.

The result is a production cell that:

  • occupies less floor space
  • eliminates secondary cap lining operations
  • reduces equipment complexity
  • removes punch-and-die maintenance
  • eliminates liner scrap
  • provides a cleaner production environment
  • lowers operating costs
  • integrates seamlessly with the injection moulding process

This approach allows caps to be moulded, robot transferred, inverted and lined automatically in one continuous operation, reducing handling while maximising productivity.
